History and Evolution of Seo

 The Google online search engine was introduced in 1998. Google founders are Larry page and Sergey Brin. They developed their PageRankAlgorithm, designed to tackle this problem by ranking their websites in the SERPs based on the relevant search.

Seo

Seo  means "Search Engine Optimisation". It is the process of natural search result on search engines.                    

  

Google

Google is a multinational technology company. Google was innovated in 1998. The main aim of Google was to market the Google Search.

       

* It include three main terms they are :
     . Crawling
     . Catching
     . Indexing

* Crawling : It means scanning the web pages and collect information about each pages. Crawling is also known as spider, robots.

* Catching : It is the method of taking snapshot of the  webpage.  After this process it will save category wise.
 

* Indexing : It means the process of adding web pages into Google search.

                

  Web Master

  Web master is a person who responsible of maintaining the web pages. They are the one who creates and manages the content of the website.

 There are mainly three types of Seo;

    1.Black Hat Seo

    2.White Hat Seo

   

* Black Hat Seo : It is mainly an unethical practice. It refers to a set of method that is used to increase a site or page rank in search engine which means  that the method violates the search engine privacy and policy.

* White Hat Seo : It refers to a set of method that is used to increase a site or page rank in search engine which means  that  they  follows all the privacy and policy of search engine. It is consider as an ethical practice.

 Keyword Stuffing

            

Keyword stuffing is consider an unethical Seo technique. It is a black hat seo technique. It completely against the search engine privacy and policy. When keyword stuffing is detect by google it will punish the website.                                      

*Passing the Juice : When a website having lots of incoming links so it can give their link to another website. It will give the website to achieve high ranking and power, but in case of the low incoming based website which is giving lots of links to another website, it will  effect their ranking and page stability.

*Google Ads : Google ads is an online advertisement area that developed by Google, where advertisers want to pay money to display their advertisements.

                               Google Updates
 

 1. Panda Update

  In 2011 google changed their algorithm name as PANDA. It introduce against the Content Spamming. Content spamming means content duplication. The main issues which are included in content spamming are:
       

             * Content duplication
             * Low qaulity contents
             * Content spinning                       

             * Thinny pages
             * Keyword stuffing

  2. Penguin Update                             

                             

 In 2012 google introduce another update called penguin updates. The introduce against the Link Spamming.When we exchange our link from one to another penguin will punish our site. The main issues which are caused by this update are:
          

                     * Link exchange
                     * Paid link
                     * Link  farming
                     * Comment spamming
                     * Wiki spamming
                     * Guest blogging

3. Pigeon Update

This update was released on july 2014.The main aim of this update is to increase the ranking of local listing in a search. The change will also affect the search results shown in Google map along with the regular Google search results. This update provides the result based on the user location and listing available in the local directory.

4. Hummingbird

 
Hummingbird is a significant algorithm change in Google Search in 2013. Hummingbird places great impact on natural language queries, considering context and meaning over individual keyword. And also it looks deeper at content on individual pages of the website, with improved ability to lead users directly to the most appropriate page rather than just a website's homepage.

 

 

 * Rank Brain

Rank brain is an artificial intelligence program used  to help the process of google search and queries. Rank Brain is an algorithm update in Google,  it is an machine learning technology which helps to deliver the search result. Rank Brain uses artificial intelligence to convert vast amount of written language into mathematical entities.

* Parked Domain

  

A Parked domain is a secondary domain.When users access the parked domain's website, the primary website displays instead.

* Mobilegeddon

 

On April 21, 2015 Google released the new mobile-friendly ranking algorithm that's helps to give a boost to mobile-friendly pages in Google's mobile search result. The main effect of this update is to give priority to web sites that displays well on smartphones and other mobile devices.

* Pirate Update

    Google's Pirate update is a filter introduction in August 2012 designed to prevent sites with many copyright infringement reports, as filed through google's DMCA system. The filter is periodically updated.

* EMD (Exact Match Domain)

    

 EMD  is a filter Google launched in September 2012 to prevent poor quality sites to ranking well simply because they had words that match search terms in their domain names.
