 Google webmaster tool is a service that provided by google. It provide free of charge for webmasters, which allows them to check their indexing status and also optimize website visibility. In May 2015, Google change the Google Webmaster as Google Search Console.

Google Webmaster Tool and Discription.

 
There are 5 main ways of verification presently in suit for GWT :


*The HTML file upload : Google provides you with a blank page , specially named file that you just have to drop in the root directory of your site. once you've done that, you just click on the verify button and you'll have access to your GWT data of this site.

*HTML tag : clicking on this option will improve you with a meta tag that you can insert into the head of your home page. After this click on the verify button to view your GWT data. The item that to note about the method of verification is that it's possible for the tag to be accidentally removed during an update to the home page, which would lead to revocation of the verification, but reinserting the tag and clicking verify again will fix that.

*Domain Name Provider : We have to select the Domain Name Provider  from the drop-down list and Google will give you a step-by-step guide for verification along with a unique security token for you to use. 

*Google Analytics : If the google account you're using for GWT is the same account as for GA
(assuming you are using GA as your  analytics solution), is an admin on the GA account, and you're using the asynchronous tracking code (with the code being in the head  of your home page). then you can verify the site in this way

*Google Tag Manager : This method allows you to use the Google Tag Manager to verify your site.

      Keep the title characters limitation 55-60. Don't use too long title or too short title. The pixels size must be 512. Spelling mistake, Grammatical error not allowed. The title must be impressive and unique. Don't use full capital letters and small letters, Also Don't duplicate the title. Use more than 3 or 4 words in head section. Page title must be relevant and accurate to the page's.

* Meta Description

A snippet includes title, URL, meta description. It's HTML attributes that gives a summary of web pages. It characters varies between 155-160.Pixels size must be 1024. Meta description must be unique. But the content on the page can be similar to the meta description. It must be very impressive.It's always good to include the focusing keyword in the meta description

* Body Section

      For an Seo Analyst the writing contents for a page is very important. Headings should be keyword rich so that the search engine can understand. Use focusing words nearly 4 times in the body. In one page you should include one H1. Use relevant keyword in it, use 7-8 words also. Long content in body can be achieve high rank. Subheadings or minor headings can be use H2 H3.

It will give the website to achieve high ranking and power, but in case of the low incoming based website which is giving lots of links to another website, it will  effect their ranking and page stability.

3. Pigeon Update

This update was released on july 2014.The main aim of this update is to increase the ranking of local listing in a search. The change will also affect the search results shown in Google map along with the regular Google search results. This update provides the result based on the user location and listing available in the local directory.

4. Hummingbird

 
Hummingbird is a significant algorithm change in Google Search in 2013. Hummingbird places great impact on natural language queries, considering context and meaning over individual keyword. On April 21, 2015 Google released the new mobile-friendly ranking algorithm that's helps to give a boost to mobile-friendly pages in Google's mobile search result. The main effect of this update is to give priority to web sites that displays well on smartphones and other mobile devices.

* Pirate Update

    Google's Pirate update is a filter introduction in August 2012 designed to prevent sites with many copyright infringement reports, as filed through google's DMCA system. The filter is periodically updated.

* EMD (Exact Match Domain)

    

 EMD  is a filter Google launched in September 2012 to prevent poor quality sites to ranking well simply because they had words that match search terms in their domain names.
